Eddy hanson

Eddy Hanson was a Waupaca native who wrote and performed many Ragtime hits in the early 1900's. His first was published when he was just 13 years old, and he went on to have a successful career as an organist for theaters and radio stations throughout the Midwest. Eddy's big hit, The Rattlesnake Rag, was used in movies and established him as a Ragtime composer. Later in Eddy's life, he returned to Waupaca where he performed at Simpson's restaurant.
